A truly stunning antique victorian natural Ruby & Moonstone set butterfly statement ring set into solid 9ct yellow gold

This astonishing antique treasure, has been held in the same family collection for over 130 years! and was once a victorian brooch that was remade in the last 50 years into this striking statement ring. The butterfly is set with a collection of the worlds most loved gemstones. We have at heart of the body a very lively Ceylon blue moonstone gem. This body stone then leads onto a collection of natural vibrant blood red natural rubies that make up the wings of this treasure. These beautiful rubies are them surrounded by a collection of small natural seed pearls. The ring has been so well made and because of this the butterfly sits so well onto the finger. This is a very unusual and totally unique item that would be perfect for anyone who just adores the unusual in their jewellery.

·         Solid 18ct yellow gold setting – not hallmarked – has been tested
