A truly stunning and very unusual antique victorian old cut Diamond & Ruby & emerald set crescent moon pendant brooch set into solid 14ct yellow gold

This incredible antique jewel has come from a large French collection of many years and has to be one of the most unusual crescent moons I have seen for some time. Set with a collection of beautiful ice white old mine cut diamonds. These gems are all very well matched and have a great colour and natural clarity to them. Set alongside natural Burma ruby and Colombian emerald’s that form this stunning floral motive. The crescent moon has been admired throughout the years and was particularly admired by the Victorians. I love that this can be worn as a pendant or used as a brooch giving two fantastic looks here.
