A truly striking antique Georgian natural 10ct Ceylon moonstone & Diamond statement ring set into solid 9ct yellow gold

Set at the heart of this truly striking antique jewel, we find a very large 10ct! old Georgian cabochon sugarloaf cut Ceylon moonstone. This gem has been perfectly cut and has such an amazing natural glow and shimmer to it even under much darker lighting conditions.

What I adore about this gem has to be those ethereal blue flashes you have that run across the gemstone. Then equally as amazing here has to be this rare sugar loaf cutting you have here, I have never seen a moonstone so well cut from the 1820/1830 period. The gem is crystal clean with no inclusion to be seen under the naked eye. With only minor abrasions to the surface in keeping with the rings vast age. Set with a collection of ice white old rose cut diamonds that are set into each claw making this such a unique look to have on the finger. The ring looks so incredible on the finger and will have everyone asking what is that!!
