This beautiful antique treasure has been with the same large private family collection since it was made in and around 1930. Set with a divine old oval cut natural royal blue sapphire mined in Ceylon. The gem has that perfect royal blue colour that you do not often find in sapphires. The sapphire is very clean and plays so well with the light and has a striking natural sparkle and life to it. Surrounded by a collection of very well-matched ice white old round cut diamonds.
These stones have been so well put together and have so much life and fire to them. The diamonds are all very clean stones and have no visible inclusions to them to the naked eye. They are all very well set as well in this gorgeous collet setting making this such a great ring to have on for day-to-day wear as the gems are very well protected. The ring sits so well on the finger and just looks so elegant on the hand.
