A stunning antique Art deco natural Bue topaz & Diamond set platinum engagement ring set in solid high-grade platinum
This wonderful antique early art deco treasure has been in the same private collection for over 80 years that is known. The ring is set with a natural earth mined blue topaz that has been very well cut and takes this gorgeous and unusual marquise shape.
The stone has a great depth of sky-blue colour and plays perfectly with the light. The gem is then framed on either side with a great quality ice white old baguette shaped diamond. These stones have a great pure ice white colour and eye clean clarity.
The ring sits so well on the finger and just screams the great elegance that was the early art deco period. The ring even has the original hand carved inscription when the ring was most likely used as an engagement ring.
