A truly astonishing antique Etruscan revival period natural turquoise lion brangle set into solid 14ct yellow gold

This amazing antique survivor has been in the same private hands in northern France for over 120 years! Set with a collection of beautiful very well matched natural turquoise gemstones that have been beautifully set into a handmade bangle taking the form of two lions. The hidden meaning of this I found truly fantastic, two lions facing one another represent two forces of equal force facing one another. Usually given in jewellery between lovers and those who wanted to show the world that they were a force to be reckoned with. Often used in imperial jewellery in both France and Russia. However what I love here has to be these wonderful Etruscan finishes to the setting and the level of detailing you have here. Your eye is suddenly moved from one feature to another as you discover more detail every time you look at the piece. The bangle makes such a statement on the wrist and I can assure the new owner this treasure will make heads turn.
