A gorgeous antique Edwardian natural Burmese Ruby & old cut diamond pearl necklace in solid 14ct white gold
This incredible antique pearl necklace has come from a large collection of fine pearl jewellery we have acquired. Made in around 1910 this jewel is set with a collection of 59 incredibly well matched saltwater cultured pearls. These pearls have so much life and pearl essence and catch the light beautifully. Finished with a truly incredible gemstone set setting at the back. Where you find three absolutely stunning old Burmese pigeon blood red natural rubies set next to two ice white old mine cut diamonds. The ruby’s here are of the best quality and have a stunning level of natural colour and clarity to them. The diamonds are bright and very clean and again full of life. I did consider removing this setting and having it converted into a ring they stones were that good but I could not bring myself to break apart this stunning antique treasure. Pearls of this size and quality in the Edwardian period that were cultured from seawater were very expensive and this jewel screams pure Edwardian luxury and timeless elegance.
If you have always wanted a truly stunning and rare to find Edwardian pearl necklace with a real look to it – or you just adore pearls and ruby’s and diamonds this could be a great choice for you.
