A truly stunning antique Art deco natural 15.4ct!! Burma Jade signet ring set into solid heavy 14ct yellow gold
This wonderful antique art deco treasure has come from a large private jewellery collection in Arizona USA. The lady who had this jewel has inherited this from her late farther and has been in the same family for as long as can be recalled. The ring is set with a HUGE natural jade gemstone that is believed to have Burmese origins. The gem has no reaction under UV and the gem expert who looked at the stone has advised the stone shows no signs of any treatment. The gem has such an amazing depth of colour and I love these wonderful almost marble like patterns that you see in certain lighting.
The gem is perfectly held in this very victorian inspired with these fantastic flat golden claws. The ring is well made and has such a great solid weight to it. You can’t help but feel the weight of this stunning ring on the finger when you have it on. The gem is so tactile and I have found myself just rubbing the stone when I have had it on the hand. There is something so unique and timeless about natural jade that no other gemstone can give you.
