This incredible antique treasure, has come from a very large private collection of many many generations and was passed down the family line. The brooch is holding on of the largest natural moonstones I have ever been able to bring to you. Not only is the gem is mighty In her size but the gem has this incredible sugarloaf cutting that you just never see in these wonderous gemstones. The gem has this amazing level of clarity and transparency that again you very rarely see in moonstone. Even in low lighting this gem has this extraordinary glow that you just have to see in person to truly appreciate and experience.

This glorious gem is then surrounded by a collection of ice white old rose cut diamonds. These diamonds frame and just add that perfect level of sparkle as diamonds always do. This brooch was likely made in Russia or Paris in and around 1870/1880 and just looks like a long forgotten royal jewel. It is my view that this gem was mined in Burma as only burmese stones process this rarely seen quality.
