Set at the heart of this amazing vintage treasure, we find a very large completely natural untreated! Russian alexandrite gemstone taken from the famed deposit in Siberia.

This ring was made by what was the old Gems company, set with one of the largest natural gems I have seen in recent times. Not only does this stone come in at approx 1.5cts! the gem is also incredibly clean with hardly any inclusion to be seen under the naked eye something you very rarely see in gems of this size and colour. The gem shows this wonderful deep Siberian emerald green colour in normal lighting and then even with the most minor of light changes the stone is exhibiting tones of pink and even red. However, when you take a direct flame to the gem the stone glows with this deep red to raspberry pink colour. Please see the video on the listing for yourself. The stone is so well set and protected from day to day wear and tear and would make a stunning ring for anyone.
